I am an independent photographer based in Wellington, New Zealand.
Since 1997 I've specialized in portraits of male models.

To engage, and find engagement in the world is something I try and strive for in my photographs.

The male models I work with are mainly drawn from chance meetings on the street.

They come from many different backgrounds and all walks of life. The one thing they have in common is the desire to grasp opportunities. I ask them to engage their imagination, show the camera strength and sensitivity, engage the eyes and mind and create a photograph that will stand long after the moment.
